How do I create a study note in AI chat?

Some students in the US can create an illustrated study note in AI chat. This is being tested, so your account may not show the option. You cannot opt in or out, and support cannot switch it on.

Create a study note

1. Open AI chat.
2. If Study Note is available, select it.
3. Describe the topic and the points you want the note to cover, then send your request.
4. Wait for the study note to finish and open it from the conversation.

You can also ask in the chat for a study note about a specific topic. A study note is different from a short summary written directly in the conversation.

Use an answer as the starting point

If you see Turn this into your own study note below an answer, use it to request a note based on that answer.

The note could not be created

If the card says Couldn't create it, tap Try again. Check your connection if it fails again.

If the option is missing, you can still ask the AI to write a summary in the chat. If a visible option keeps failing, use the support form under AI or content quality and include a screenshot.
