How do I request a refund?

Where you ask for a refund depends on where you bought your subscription. Requesting a refund does not cancel the subscription, so cancel it as well if you do not want the next renewal.

Bought on the Knowunity website (Paddle)

Paddle is the merchant of record for website purchases.

1. Open the link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email, or go to paddle.net and look up your transaction with your email address.
2. Choose the transaction and request a refund.

If you are in the EU, you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal after the purchase. The details are in our revocation provisions.

If the self-service options do not work for you, contact support with the email address you used at checkout and the date of the charge.

Bought on an iPhone or iPad (App Store)

Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases. Knowunity cannot issue, approve or decline these refunds. Only Apple can.

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
2. Choose Request a refund, pick a reason and select the Knowunity subscription.
3. Submit the request. Apple usually replies within a few days.

Bought on Android (Google Play)

Google is the merchant of record for Google Play purchases.

1. Go to play.google.com and sign in with the Google account used for the purchase.
2. Open your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Order history.
3. Find the Knowunity order, choose Report a problem and follow the refund form.

If Google declines and the charge is recent, contact support with the Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.) and we will look into it.
