Le Forme del Verbo To Be
Tranquillo, il verbo "to be" è più semplice di quanto sembri! Ha solo tre forme principali: am (solo con I), is (con he/she/it), e are (con you/we/they).
Forma affermativa: Puoi sempre usare le contrazioni come I'm, you're, he's - sono super comuni nel parlato quotidiano. Ricorda che "I am" diventa "I'm", mentre "they are" può diventare "they're".
Forma negativa: Aggiungi semplicemente "not" dopo il verbo. Anche qui puoi contrarre: "are not" → "aren't", "is not" → "isn't". Facile, no?
Domande e risposte: Per fare domande, sposta il verbo all'inizio. "You are happy" diventa "Are you happy?". Nelle risposte brevi affermative (Yes, I am), non puoi mai usare contrazioni!
💡 Trucco: Memorizza prima "I am, you are, he/she/it is" - il resto viene naturale!

Ci sono alcune regole d'oro che ti semplificheranno la vita! Prima di tutto, in inglese il soggetto è sempre obbligatorio - non puoi mai dire solo "am happy" come in italiano.
Le contrazioni sono tue amiche: puoi usarle con qualsiasi soggetto (John's, the cat's), ma ricorda che 're funziona solo con we, you e they. Mai dire "John're"!
Quando lo usi: Il verbo to be è perfetto per tre situazioni principali. Lo usi per le informazioni personali (I am 15 years old), per gli stati d'animo (She is happy), e per i dati di fatto (The sky is blue).
