Il Verbo Essere - Le Basi
Hai mai notato che in inglese il verbo essere cambia forma a seconda di chi parla? È più semplice di quanto pensi! Con "I" usi sempre "am", con "he/she/it" usi "is", e con "you/we/they" usi "are".
La cosa figata è che puoi contrarre queste forme per parlare in modo più naturale. Invece di dire "I am happy" puoi dire "I'm happy" - molto più veloce, no? Lo stesso vale per tutte le altre persone: "you're", "he's", "she's", "it's", "we're", "they're".
Per fare le frasi negative, aggiungi semplicemente "not" dopo il verbo. Puoi dire "I am not" oppure usare la forma contratta "I'm not". Per gli altri, hai due scelte: "you aren't" oppure "you're not" - entrambe vanno benissimo!

Per fare le frasi negative, aggiungi semplicemente "not" dopo il verbo. Puoi dire "I am not" oppure usare la forma contratta "I'm not". Per gli altri, hai due scelte: "you aren't" oppure "you're not" - entrambe vanno benissimo!
