Understanding Point of View in Stories
Ever wonder why some stories feel so personal while others keep you at a distance? That's point of view at work—the perspective from which a story is told. The narrator's perspective controls what information you receive as a reader.
In First Person POV, the narrator is a character in the story using "I," "me," and "we." You get direct access to this character's thoughts and feelings, but you only see other characters from the outside. This creates an intimate but limited perspective—you can't know what other characters are thinking unless they say it out loud.
Third Person Limited keeps the narrator outside the story but focuses on one character. Using "he," "she," or "they," this POV follows a single character closely, revealing their inner thoughts while keeping other characters' minds closed to us. Meanwhile, Third Person Omniscient allows the narrator to jump between multiple characters' minds, giving readers access to various perspectives.
Quick Tip: Pay attention to pronouns! "I" and "me" signal first person, while "he/she/they" indicate third person. This simple clue instantly helps you identify the POV being used.
Less common POVs include Second Person ("you"), rarely used in fiction but common in how-to books, and Third Person Objective, which acts like a camera—showing only actions and dialogue without revealing any character's thoughts.

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
