# How do I cancel my Knowunity Pro subscription?

> Cancel where you bought it: the App Store, Google Play or the Paddle portal for website purchases. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

Your subscription is billed by the store you bought it from, so that is where you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

## In the app

1. Open the **Pro** tab.
2. Tap **Manage plan**, then **Switch to Basic**.
3. Follow the steps. The last step opens the subscription page of your store, where you confirm the cancellation.

If you bought on the website, the **Manage** button on the Pro tab opens your Paddle customer portal instead.

## iPhone or iPad (App Store)

1. Open **Settings** on your device and tap your name.
2. Tap **Subscriptions**, then **Knowunity**.
3. Tap **Cancel Subscription**.

## Android (Google Play)

1. Open the **Play Store** app and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap **Payments and subscriptions**, then **Subscriptions**.
3. Select **Knowunity** and tap **Cancel subscription**.

## Knowunity website (Paddle)

Website purchases are handled by Paddle, our payment partner. Use one of these routes:

- Tap **Manage** on the Pro tab in the app to open your Paddle portal.
- Open the link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email.
- Go to [paddle.net](https://paddle.net), look up your transaction with your email address and cancel there.

## Good to know

- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first.
