# The AI gave a wrong answer or answered in the wrong language

> Tell the AI what is wrong and it will correct itself. Always check important facts. Report repeated problems so that we can improve the model.

Knowunity's AI is a study companion, not a replacement for your textbook or teacher. It can make mistakes, especially with calculations, dates and very specific curriculum details.

## Correct the AI in the chat

- Reply with what is wrong, for example *The limiting reagent calculation is wrong, check the moles of oxygen.* The AI will rework the answer.
- Ask it to show its steps so that you can check them.
- For exam-relevant facts, compare with your course material.

## Wrong language

- Write your message in the language you want the answer in, or say *Answer in French*.
- Check your app language under **Account settings**, **My language**.
- Flashcards and quizzes use the language of the source material. If they come out in a different language, generate them again with a clear language instruction.

## Report a problem

If the AI is consistently wrong on a topic, gives inappropriate answers or keeps switching language, report it through the [support form](https://knowunity.com/support) under *AI or content quality*. Include the question, the answer and a screenshot. These reports go straight to the team that trains and configures the AI.

## Refunds for AI quality

We cannot refund a subscription because of a single wrong answer, but store refund rules still apply. See *How do I request a refund?*
